Today year four completed their Race for Life; walking, running and jogging for twenty minutes on our new mile track. I am so incredibly proud of all of them, they were magnificent! In English, we have been studying stories with dilemmas and have enjoyed watching a short film called, ‘Lard’ where the main character (Jake) encounters many dilemmas. Yesterday, we acted out the film and created our own endings. Then, we performed them outside in the beautiful sunshine for our friends to enjoy. Here are some photographs of us in action:
On Wednesday 4th May we had a fantastic day filled with maths activities. We played games of bingo to learn our multiplication tables, completed a maths trail outside and engaged in some tricky problem solving activities. The day was a huge success, take a look at our photos here:
On Thursday we had a fantastic time at Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre. We took part in exciting workshops, found out lots of interesting information about the giant Lovell Telescope and explored the magnificent exhibitions.
